My Perception About LGBTQIA+

Nowadays, many people are open about the relationship of two individuals of the same gender. That’s not surprising though since we are already on the 21st Century. The world is evolving, so does people. Many people support the same-sex relationship which has a big impact to the couples of same-sex because they feel that they are not being judge and they feel belong to the society. And it is not just about the same-sex couples but also to those who are still in the closet or in other words, those who still cannot come out as part of the LGBTQ+ community because they think that the society will judge them for who they are.

A member of LGBTQ+ should not be judge because of their gender preferences, gender identity, and sexual orientation, or how they want to be themselves, because they are also human who has emotions and feelings and they just want to live a normal life they wanted together with someone they love. As someone who supports LGBTQ+, I am thankful for their supporters because they support them to bring out their true colors to the public and giving them the courage to be themselves.

No matter what the gender preference of a person is, we shouldn’t judge them because we don’t know thier stories, their experiences, the struggles they faced just to come out as a member of the community, instead we should respect them. All we need is to respect them and support them. We don’t have to be part of the community to support the community.
